Yes, you have to buy them half a size bigger than usual. The color is a bit darker than what the foto shows. -- My Review

These Mary Jane style Shape Ups are the second pair I have purchased within about a month (see my other review) and I was not disappointed.

Whereas the traditional sneaker style pair I first purchased had laces that I found to be "loose", these velcro closures fit snugly, but do not cause rubbing or pain. Because I am a practiced Shape Up user I put them on the day they arrived and gave an international colleague a three hour tour around Boston. My legs and feet felt great! (Note that I started out wearing my other pair 30 minutes per day as recommended and have gradually built up my usage). I only wish I could wear them every day - other shoes may look a tad more fashionable but there are none I've worn that feel better. Other reviewers here in medical professions have confirmed they are great for long shifts and I can say that at my checkup this week I actually saw two staff members sporting their own pairs.

Both the sneakers and Mary Janes come with an instructional DVD, booklet, and healthy living tips, which is a nice touch. -- My second pair of Shape-Ups and I am eyeing a third, I love them that much!

I work retail, and these shoes are the best! An 8-10 hour day with barely an ache. I rush all day and I have had $200 shoes that are not as good to my feet. They do take a bit of getting used to, and switching shoes once or twice a day for a week broke them in for me, but others I work with said they did not do so. I don't feel comfortable in them standing still though(like when I get on a register for extended periods). Hope this helps you hopefuls! Great walking or running shoes. -- Awesome for busy walkers!

The Mary Jane Skechers were the most comfortable and stylish shoes I have ever found. I wear them to work (hospital) and my feet feel great after 8 hrs on my feet. True to size. I bought I second pair in black and wear with capris and shorts as well. Love them. -- Best shoes ever
