I'm in my elder years and bought these shoes out of curiosity. I am very happy with them and with the vendor at Amazon, Peltz shoes. Even with shipping I got a better price than I could get locally. They are very comfortable and have promoted conditioning in some new muscles. They also promote balance by having a little bit of a rocking effect. When I wear them to classes in qi gong, they work my legs quite a bit more than usual by my having to adapt to this subtle rocking effect. I cannot say how they affect weight loss as I had recently completed a program and was at my goal weight. However, I can say that they are producing noticeable effects in muscles in calves and thighs that don't otherwise seem to work with walking. Balance for elders is one of the main benefits of Tai Chi and Qi Gong and my teacher was very impressed to see me wearing these shoes. I sometimes don't wear them to class because I want to compare notes as far as the balancing efforts go. These aren't shoes I'd throw in the washer so I'm trying to stay out the garden with them. -- Fitness and Balance
I absolutely love these shoes. I was not excited about spending the $110 but I do think they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are very well constructed and do not make your feet sore while breaking them it. They simply feel like the where made for my feet. After a few hours of walking it felt like I was working my abdomen as well as my legs. I would recommended these and have told all my friends and family about them. -- Great shoes
These shoes are very comfortable and seem to absorb the impact of walking. My knees don't hurt after I wear these even after a lot of walking. I have told everyone I know to try them and everyone has loved them. -- Best shoes ever!
Love it. I wear this shoe to work, where I am on my foot 12 hours a day. My leg does not hurt as much like with any other brand name shoe. Kinda expensive but worth it. It takes some time to get used to it, just a heads up! -- Best pair of shoe I've ever own
This shoe, although it takes time to get accustomed to due to the rocker=like bottm, is durable and comfortable. It is a good shoe for the price, and would stand up to the more expensive brands of the same type. Comfortable, stylish, and light weight, this shoe is a pleasure to wear. Although it is not a shoe to wear for all activities, once you become accustom to it you will definately enjoy walking the dog like never before! Hopefully this shoe will be available for a long time, and will not become victim of a "fade". -- Good shoe for price
